凸显学生素养

Elaborate Chinese Classics, Present Students’Attainments.

“双减”背景下，教师应如何更好地提升学生的英语水平，促进学生学科核心素养的提升？我校小学部英语学科立足英语校本课程，在12月英语活动月中开展了丰富多彩的英语活动，其中的英语话剧展演以中华优秀传统文化为内容，教师引导学生在前期的准备中重观察、重思考，紧扣时代脉搏，结合生活体验，大胆想象，有创意地改编；活动中则重英语语言的表达，语感的体验，重真情实感的呈现，重对真、善、美的追求。

Under the background of ‘double reduction’, how should teachers improve students' English level and promote their key competence? Based on the School-based English curriculum, We held a series of English activities in December. The English drama festival is skillfully integrated into traditional Chinese cultural elements. In the early stage, teachers guide students to observe and think originally. During the activities, we focus on the expression of English language, the experience of language sense, the presentation of real feelings and the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty.

The third graders bring us a song show, with warm wind in spring, bright sun in summer, streams in autumn and snowflakes in winter. Full of enthusiasm, they are singing and dancing, bringing a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience.

盲人摸象

The Blind Men and the Elephant

《盲人摸象》的剧情幽默诙谐，同学们的表演惟妙惟肖，大家在欢笑声中懂得了“看问题切忌以偏概全”的道理。

Classmates from grade four bring us a drama: The Blind Men and the Elephant. It’s a humorous story, with vivid performance, telling us that we should consider issues as a whole.

狐假虎威

The Fox and the Tiger

指导老师：王玟、陈晨、崔罗丹

演员：桑天笑、田晋豪、韩宇航、胡博文、廖诗语、茹孜翔、胡颢龄、谭墨

《狐假虎威》是童叟皆知的故事，同学们用英语话剧的表演形式，让大家明白了凡是借着权威的势力欺压别人的人都是逞一时英雄，其本质是不堪一击的。狐狸奸诈狡黠的形象也再一次印入同学们的心中。

The Fox and the Tiger is a well-known story. Through the form of English drama, the actors told their classmates that anyone who oppresses others by the power of authority can just be the hero of the moment. The image of the cunning fox was once again imprinted in the students' minds.

三打白骨精

Beating the Monster Three Times

指导老师：王方

演员：谢沁棪、鲜量宇、邓开杰、李青城、潘语恬、梅博仁、刘彦宸

六年级带来的话剧《三打白骨精》实属精彩。同学们在传统故事基础上大胆创编，增加了许多时代元素，拉近了传统经典与现代生活的距离。同学们再次体会到看事物要有火眼金睛，要有敏锐的透过现象看本质的能力。

The students from Grade 6 show us a new story of “Beating the Monster Three Times”. By the ambitious adaption, Students realize that they need to have a keen eye to see through the phenomenon to see the essence.

神笔马良

Ma Liang and the Magic Paintbrush

指导老师：魏毅

演员：毛彧洵、王奕臣、李欣妍、林振泽、罗一涵、陈欣然、蔡伊涵、罗文豪、古天鑫

四年级的同学表演了情景剧《神笔马良》，马良“惩恶扬善”的事迹激起了每一个充满正义感的人对美好事物的向往和对丑恶事物的痛恨。

The fourth graders perform 《Ma Liang》. And Ma Liang has became the embodiment of children’s wisdom, courage and justice!

荆轲刺秦

The Emperor and the Assassin

指导老师：王玟、陈晨、崔罗丹

演员：杨思禹、文仁宇灏、周子馨、陈逸馨

《荆轲刺秦》的小演员们倾情演绎，一投足一蹙眉都展现着“刺杀”场面的惊险。“一人之力难挽狂澜”“凡事要谋定而后动、三思而后行”的道理随着剧情的发展而深入每个观众的心。

"The Emperor and the Assassin" lets the students know that we shouldn’t pursue flashy things, but be diligent and willing to help others.

武松打虎

Wu Song Fought the Tiger

指导老师：余雪

演员：鲁怡琳、宦骊霖、余奕轩、李佳乐、唐锦鹏、皮诗涵、卞芊

“三碗不过岗”的酒旗迎风招展，话剧《武松打虎》中的“武松”喝完酒就上山去打虎。“武松”是古时候的英雄，在今日的舞台却被“警察”带走了，你能猜到为什么吗？对，他违反了《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》。

Wu Song was a hero in ancient times, but now he is under arrest. Can you guess the reason? He violates the wildlife regulation of China! After the show, the students understand that they should have the ability to distinguish between good and evil, and not always trust others unquestioningly.

活动总结

Summary

活动结束，袁逢春副校长作了简单总结。他首先对这次精彩的话剧展演赞不绝口，同时表扬了师生们积极用英语展现中华优秀传统文化，表扬学生们在活动中展现出优秀的综合素质，并希望同学们继续努力，学好英语，用英语讲好树博故事、成都故事，讲好中国故事，传承伟大的中国共产党的建党精神，从而让中华优秀的传统文化通过英语走向世界！

At the end of the event, Vice Principal Yuan Fengchun made a speech. He affirmed the success of the drama festival. And he spoke highly of the students' enthusiasm to interpret the spirit of traditional Chinese culture in English. Besides, he hoped that all the students will continue to work hard to learn English well and tell the stories of Shubo, Let more people get to know Chinese traditional culture by means of English.
