This is Jerry from Wenzhou-Kean University.

我是来自温州肯恩大学的谢安。

There is only one great in the world that really exists. Her name is "mother". When we were young, we always wanted to escape from the warm embrace of our mothers, because we were curious about the outside world and thought we had unlimited energy to face all the challenges. But after we grow up, leaving the familiar home, leaving our mothers who is always talking, we finally realize that all the carefreeness in our childhood is based on mothers’ day and night work.

这个世上只有一种伟大是真实存在的，她的名字，名为“母亲”。小时候的我们，总是想要逃离母亲温暖的怀抱，因为我们好奇外面的世界，总认为自己有无限的精力来面对所有的挑战。等我们渐渐长大，离开了熟悉的家，离开了总是絮絮叨叨的母亲，我们才发现，过去的无忧无虑都是建立在母亲的日夜操劳之上。

However, what can't be changed is that our mothers and we are about to be more and more far away from each other. Just like Long Yingtai said in "Seeing her off, “I have come to realize that gradually the so-called parentage just means your predestined relationship allows you to gaze after him or her fading away ceaselessly in this present life.” In our hometown, where we can seldom go back, our mothers are slowly getting old, and wrinkles quietly climb up her eyebrows. But the years have not reduced our mother's love for us. Even if we are thousands of miles away, this love is like the string of a kite, guiding us on our way home.

然而无可改变的是，我们与母亲永远走在渐行渐远的路上。就像龙应台在《目送》中说道：“所谓父女母子一场，只不过意味着你和他的缘分就是今生今世不断地在目送他的背影渐行渐远。”在我们少能回去的故乡，我们的母亲在慢慢的变老，皱纹悄悄地爬上了她的眉梢。可岁月却没有削减母亲对我们的爱，这份爱不论我们在千里之外，都像牵引风筝的线，指引我们回家的路。

If mother’s love is the string of a kite, how will we repay this love? Next, please enjoy Bing Xin’s poem: "Paper Boat". No matter in glory days, or in cold night, when we have something in mind, mother will always occupy a part of the world in our hearts.

Paper Boat

Bing Xin

Never willing to waste a sheet of paper,

I save and save

Then fold them into small, small boats

And throw them into the sea from my ship.

Some are blown back into the portholes,

Others are stuck on the stern, soaked by waves,

And I, undiscouraged, keep on folding and hoping

That one will finally reach its destination.

O Mother, if you ever see a tiny white sail in your dream,

Don't be startled by its unexpected presence for

It was folded by your loving daughter to carry homeward

Across the sea and mountains her love and sorrow.

纸船——寄母亲

冰 心

  我从不肯妄弃了一张纸，

  总是留着——留着，

叠成一只一只很小的船儿，

从舟上抛下在海里。

有的被天风吹卷到舟中的窗里，

有的被海浪打湿，沾在船头上。

我仍是不灰心的每天的叠着，

总希望有一只能流到我要它到的地方去。

母亲，倘若你梦中看见一只很小的白船儿，

不要惊讶它无端入梦。

这是你至爱的女儿含着泪叠的，

万水千山，求它载着她的爱和悲哀归去。

They used to be the pearl of their parents' eyes, and they were once delicate girls as well.

But from the moment they became mothers, they became fearless and omnipotent.

They are fragile, and they are strong.

When we encounter setbacks, sad, they will smile to comfort us.

When we are satisfied with our achievements, their eyes are filled with tears.

No matter we are excellent or not, they will not dislike us.

No matter  we are successful or not, they will not mind. 

Mother's Day is only once a year.

Everyone has only one mother.

In this day of love and gratitude, 

I wish every mother happiness, health and longevity!

Before wrinkles crept up their pretty faces, try to be their pride!

曾经的她们，也是父母的掌上明珠，也是娇弱的少女。

但从她们成为母亲的那一刻起，她们就变得无所畏惧，无所不能。

她们是脆弱的，她们也是坚强的。

当我们遇到挫折伤心难过时，她们会微笑着安慰我们。

当我们获得成就踌躇满志时，她们却止不住满眶泪水。

无论我们是否优秀，她们都不会嫌弃。

无论我们是否成功，她们都不会介意。

每年只有一次母亲节。

每个人也只有一位母亲。

在这个充满爱和感恩的日子里，

祝愿每一位母亲幸福快乐，健康长寿！

在他们老去之前，真真正正地成为他们的骄傲吧。
