厦门市人民政府副市长张志红，以色列驻广州总领事劳霈乐，广东以色列理工学院副校长林丹明、Yigal Achmon教授、Yoav Eichen教授，厦门市火炬开发区管委会及二十余家以色列企业受邀参加本次论坛。

以色列驻广州总领事劳霈乐在开幕致辞时表示，中以两国的友谊源远流长，在经济、科技等诸多领域建立了合作关系。他特别提到广东以色列理工学院，认为广以是中以两国在教育合作领域上很重要的一环。“作为以色列理工学院的中国校区，广以成功吸纳和培养了很多具有创新精神的人才。”

广以副校长林丹明向到场的嘉宾介绍了广以的师资情况、办学理念、科研成果及产学研合作的现状。他表示，广以积极开展产学研合作，很多教授都拥有在大企业高端实验室工作的经历，也与厦门有很多合作项目，他们会把在工作中积累的经验带来学校，推动学术成果的转化。目前，广东以色列理工学院也在大湾区等地建立实习基地，为学生提供实习机会，也为企业输送各类专业人才。最后，林丹明热情邀请到场企业代表前往广以交流指导。

在企业路演环节，Yigal Achmon教授作为嘉宾，以“如何让农业废物变黄金”为题向到场企业分享实验室的科研成果。Achmon教授指导的实验室专注于食品的可持续发展，和我们常见的直接填埋或焚烧不同，更注重从减少，重复使用和循环使用三个层级对废物进行处理（即3R层级），通过利用微生物，将废物应用于土壤、能源等各个方面，实现变废为宝。

Yoav Eichen教授受邀参加了圆桌对话的环节，从学术的角度，分享了中以企业在科技领域合作探索的成果。两位教授作为学术领域的代表，在专业上都各有建树，发言获得了到场嘉宾的极大关注。

会后，多家企业纷纷上前与广以代表团进行更进一步的交流，表现出强烈的人才需求及合作意向。

Mr. Peleg Lewi gave his opening speech. He said that China and Israel have enjoyed a time-honored friendship and have cooperated in many fields such as economy, science and so on. He specially mentioned GTIIT as a very important part of China-Israel cooperation in education. “As the Chinese campus of Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, GTIIT has successfully absorbed and cultivated many talents with innovative spirit.”

Prof. Lin Danming introduced the faculty team, features, scientific research results and university-enterprise cooperation. He said that GTIIT is actively developing university-enterprise cooperation. Many professors in GTIIT have working experience in top laboratories of lager companies. They brought this experience to the University and promoted the application of advances in science and technology. GTIIT has already established internship bases in the China Great Bay Area to provide students internship opportunities and various professionals for enterprises. Finally, Prof. Lin Danmimg warmly invited the representatives to visit GTIIT.

During the Companies Road Show, Prof. Yigal Achmon was invited as a guest to share the scientific research results about “Agricultural Waste to Gold”. His laboratory focuses on the sustainable development of food which are reduction, reuse and recycling. Through using microorganisms, waste can be used in soil, energy and many other aspects.

Prof. Yoav Eichen was invited to attend the Round Table Dialogue, he shared the result of the technology innovation of Sino-Israeli business cooperation. As the representatives of the academic field, the two professors from GTIIT have their own achievements in academic fields and their speeches received great attention from the guests.

After the forum, many companies came forward to have future communication with GTIIT, showing a strong demand for talents and cooperation intentions.
