它比那光亮柔和且幽暗

增一分影，减一线光

就会损害这难言的美

美波动在她乌黑的发上

轻轻悄悄地照亮她的脸

在那脸庞，恬静的思绪

指明它的来处，纯洁且珍贵

于脸颊处，置眉宇间

如此温和，平静，而又脉脉含情

那迷人的微笑，那容颜的光彩

都在诉说着那美好的善良

一种精神安于世间的一切

一颗心中爱慕永远的无邪

She walks in beauty, like the night

Of cloudless climes and starry skies;

And all that's best of dark and bright

Meet in her aspect and her eyes:

One shade the more, one ray the less,
