朗读温州肯恩广播室国庆特辑 | 九曲黄河，悠悠我心，青春之梦在路上

The Yellow River is the cradle of Chinese civilization, and the culture of Yellow River is the root and soul of the Chinese nation. The curving Yellow River has shaped the spirit of tolerance, perseverance, and courage of us. The work "Defend the Yellow River", is sonorous and impassioned. It describes the turbulence and dangerous era to us with majestic aura, telling us that the victory of the Chinese nation is hard-won, and to cherish the hard-won peace now. On the occasion of the China National Day, the work inspires patriotism in our hearts.

"Defend the Yellow River" contains the patriotism of the older generation of musicians. The work "Defend the Yellow River" depicts the magnificent scene of defending the Yellow River and the whole country with a sonorous rhythm and inspiring tone. Although standing in the new era, we have not experienced that turbulent era, we can still feel the national cry from the progressive emotions in the movement. Listening to this movement, we can see the roaring waves of Yellow River just like the vibrant China, going forward step by step to the prosperity and strong.

作品背景：

《保卫黄河》选自《黄河大合唱》，灵感来源于1938年武汉沦陷后，光未然带领抗战演剧队东渡黄河途中目睹的黄河船夫与狂风恶浪搏斗的场景。

1939年1月，光未然创作了朗诵诗《黄河吟》，除夕晚会演出后，冼星海兴奋的表示要为这首朗诵诗填词。1939年3月底，《黄河大合唱》问世，以中华民族的发源地黄河为背景，热情讴歌了中华儿女不屈不挠，保卫祖国的必胜信念。

Historical Background ： 

"Defend the Yellow River"is selected from "Yellow River Cantata". After the Chinese city, Wuhan fell to Japanese invaders in November 1938, Guang Weiran led the the Anti-Enemy Troupe across the Yellow River near the Hukou Waterfall. During the eastward journey, Guang Weiran witnessed the local boatmen battle against heavy gales and torrential waves and heard their spirit-lifting songs.

In January 1939, Guang Weiran wrote a patriotic poem entitled "Yellow River Cantata" and recited it. After the Chinese New Year celebration, Xian Xinghai excitedly expressed that he would fill in the lyrics for this recitation poem. At the end of March 1939, the "Yellow River Cantata" came out. With the background of the Yellow River, the birthplace of the Chinese nation, it enthusiastically praised the Chinese people's indomitable belief in defending the motherland.

《保卫黄河》是《黄河大合唱》中的倒数第二个章节，是作品中号召各地华夏儿女携手奋进共同抗敌的部分。这段演奏是殷承宗老师等人改编的双钢琴版本，其中还融入了部分《东方红》的旋律。作品采用了齐唱、轮唱的形式，阐述了从一个人到一群志同道合的人，从细微个人的声音到万众一心，再到跟随我党共同前进抗争，大家齐心协力保卫黄河、保卫华北、保卫全中国的情景，尾声处将作品推向高潮。

The Introduction：

"Defend the Yellow River" is the penultimate movement in the "Yellow River Cantata". It is the part of the overall work that calls on the Chinese people join hands and fight the enemy together. This version, "Defend the Yellow River", was arranged as two pianos work by Yin Chengzong and many musicians, which also added part of the song melody of "The East is Red". The work is arranged into a polyphonic canon, expresses the scene from one person to a group with one soul, from the subtle personal voices to the sound of one-hearted, and then, to follow the Communist Party of China, to march forward and fight together. We all being together, defend the Yellow River, defend North China and defend the whole of Country. At the end, the music is pushed to a climax.

作品意义：

《黄河大合唱》是20世纪公认的最优秀的合唱套曲，这部作品通俗易懂朗朗上口，将时代的情景通过音乐与诗歌的形式带到我们面前。欣赏这部作品，会让我们为祖国拥有如此壮阔美丽的山河而自豪，为曾经抛头颅洒热血的英雄儿女们感到光荣，为兢兢业业奋斗接力的同胞们感到骄傲。

Musical Influence：

"Yellow River Cantata" is recognized as the best 20th century large-scaled vocal music composition. This work is easy to understand and catchy, and the work brings the scene of that times to us in the context of music and poem. Appreciating this work will make us proud of the magnificent and beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland, proud of the heroes and proud of the compatriots who have worked hard generation by generation.
