尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们，金风送爽、丹桂飘香，一个崭新的学期再次扬帆起航。首先请允许我代表全校师生欢迎本学期新入校的预备年级116名新同学，789各年级插班生30名新同学，和包含2名外教在内的13名新教师，加入光华中学大家庭，欢迎你们的到来！

Dear teachers and students, a new semester starts again. First of all, please allow me, on behalf of all teachers and students, to welcome 116 sixth grade new students, 30 new students in Grade 7, Grade 8 and Grade 9 , and 13 new teachers including 2 foreign teachers to join the family of Guanghua Middle School. Welcome!

光华中学自2015年开办至今，始终把为学生的终生发展服务作为学校的办学理念，把以人为本，让每个学生在健康的教育生态下自主生长作为学校的教育理念。我们立志要办一所让学生喜欢，让家长放心，让社会认可的优质民办学校。光华中学培养具备公民意识、创新精神、全球视野、能够感知幸福、具备终身学习能力的未来公民。

Since its establishment in 2015, Guanghua Middle School has always regarded serving the lifelong development of students as the school's educational philosophy, and Guanghua is people-oriented, so it allows each student to grow up independently under a healthy educational ecology. We are determined to run a high-quality private school that students and parents like and believe, and a school recognized by the society. Guanghua Middle School cultivates future citizens with civic awareness, innovative spirit, global vision, happiness perception and lifelong learning ability.

光华中学是一个有理想的地方。学校办学有理想，无论外部环境如何变幻，光华办优质教育的初心不变，我们提供优质的大纲课程和艺术、人文、体育、社科等多门拓展课程，保证学生在求学路上的多种可能性。光华老师教学有理想，上好每一个40分钟，让同学们面前站着一个个高素养的老师是大家共同的目标。光华的学生有理想，乐学善学、敢于质疑、勇于创新，不断挑战自我，不断追求卓越。

Guanghua Middle School has high ideals and aims. No matter how the external environment changes, Guanghua's original intention of running high-quality education remains unchanged. We provide great outline courses and many extension courses such as art, humanities, physical education and social sciences to ensure a variety of possibilities for students. Our teachers have ideals. They are devoted to making every 40 minutes class meaningful. Our students have ideals. They are desired to learn and good at learning. They have the courage to criticize and innovate, constantly challenge themselves and pursue excellence.

光华中学是一个有温度的地方。我们彼此看到、彼此尊重、互相鼓励、相互赋能。我们学校的每一个学生都是独特的，独一无二的。因为你不一样，你有你的优势，你有你的花期。请相信，你很重要。光华中学是一个求真知的地方。我们明辨是非对错，我们喜欢质疑和思辨，我们总在寻找解决问题的最佳方案。光华中学潜心打造一个温暖向上的绿色生态教育场。

Guanghua Middle School is a family with love. We see, respect, encourage and help each other. Every student in our school is unique and special. Because you are different, you have your advantages. Please believe that you are very important. Guanghua Middle School is a place for knowledge. We distinguish right from wrong. We encourage thinking and criticizing. We are always looking for the best solution to the problem. Guanghua Middle School devotes itself to building a healthy educational environment.

今天我们站在新的起跑线上，如何在新的学期取得更多进步，校长妈妈给大家提三点要求：

1、要立长志，而不是常立志。制定计划很重要，而计划是否科学合理，是否长期可持续则更加重要。

2、不但想学习、更要会学习。激发内在动力，只有你想学习，学习才会发生，而好的学习方法让你事半功倍。

3、眼界决定世界，细节决定成败。除了学校课堂，还有生活的课程和社会的课堂，高手的比拼只在毫厘之间。

Today, we are standing on the new starting line. About how to make more progress in the new semester, I would like to put forward three requirements for you:

Set a long-term target and don’t change your mind now and then. Making a plan is very important, but making a reasonable, long-term and sustainable plan is even more important.
Be motivated to learn and be able to learn efficiently. Stimulate your internal motivation to learn. Good learning methods will make your study easier.
Vision determines how big the world is and details determine if you will succeed or not In addition to the school class, there are also life courses and social classes. Every detail counts.

最后，衷心祝愿老师们在新的学期身体健康、工作愉快，每天被工作的成就感和小确幸包围。祝愿同学们在新的学期收获知识、收获友谊，享受校园生活的每一天。祝愿光华中学办学蒸蒸日上，在知名度、美誉度、办学品质、教育服务等各方面再攀新高。老师们、同学们，我们一起努力，我们信心满满，成功必定属于我们。谢谢大家！

Finally, I sincerely wish teachers good health and happiness in the new semester. I wish the students to get knowledge and friendship and enjoy campus life in the new semester. I wish Guanghua Middle School to make progress and reach a new high in popularity, reputation, school quality and educational services.
