宁波诺丁汉大学张毓隆教授连续六年入选中国高被引学者榜单

2021年4月22日，2020年中国高被引学者榜单发布，宁波诺丁汉大学商学院教授张毓隆博士再次荣列年度爱思唯尔（Elsevier）中国高被引学者。

张毓隆教授是一位十分优秀的学者。作为导师，他十分平易近人，常常营造一个平等交流的氛围。他总能充分调动学生的主观能动性，鼓励与启发学生产生自己的想法，将学生引导成为独立的学者，我非常幸运在博士期间能够得到张教授的指导。

Professor Alain Chong rated as one of the Most Cited Researchers in China for six consecutive years

22 April: Professor Alain Chong, Dean of Graduate School and Global Engagement at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), has been rated as one of the Most Cited Researchers in China for the sixth year running by the Elsevier Scopus database.

He is an active member of the information systems community and has published over 100 articles in various reputable journals, such as Journal of Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, and Decision Support Systems.

Born in London, England, Alain grew up in the UK, Malaysia and Indonesia. He is currently a Professor in Information Systems and Dean of the Graduate School and Global Engagement at UNNC. Before joining UNNC, Alain was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also worked as a software engineer in the United Kingdom and as an Associate Professor in Computer Science in Malaysia.

Alain was a recipient of the 2012 Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian Award conferred by Junior Chamber International, and has been named as one of the Most Cited Researchers based in China since 2015 by the Elsevier Scopus database. He has received more than RMB 2 million in funding for various research projects from the HK General Research Fund, the Royal Society, the National Natural Fund of China, and the Malaysia Fundamental Research Grant Scheme etc.

In 2020, Alain won the “Ningbo Camellia Award” - the highest honour for foreign talent - from the Ningbo Municipal Government, recognising his contribution to the social and economic development of the city.

Besides an excellent researcher, Alain also serves as a doctoral supervisor and has trained many outstanding doctoral students. One of his doctoral students now a post-doc at the University of Science and Technology of China, Guan Zhengzhi said, "Professor Alain Chong is an excellent scholar. As a supervisor, he is quite approachable and he always communicates with his students as an equal research partner. He encourages and inspires them to develop their own ideas, leading them to become independent scholars. I feel so lucky to be under his supervision. "
