【枫叶高中·国旗下演讲】以奋斗之姿，展青春本色

老师，同学们，大家好。我是来自11-1班的丛永骐。旁边这位是来自11-1班的何昕阳。

Dear teachers and students, good morning.I am Clavia from Class 1 Grade 11, this is Bonne from Class 1 Grade 11.

奋斗，浸润着梦想与热情、付出与汗水、勇毅与开拓。奋斗，意味着奋发图强的精神风貌、奋力拼搏的顽强意志、奋勇前行的慷慨气势。

Striving is imbued with dreams and enthusiasm, dedication and sweat, courage and perseverance. Struggle means a spirit of endeavour, a strong will to strive, and a generous spirit to move forward.

观望古今，古有儒雅书生挑灯夜读，闻鸡起舞，悬梁刺股；今有吾辈青年废寝忘食，手不释卷，通宵达旦。

Looking at the past and present, in the past, there were Confucian scholars who read at night, rise up upon hearing the crow of a rooster and practise with the sword, and hung their beams; today, there are young people of our generation who lose sleep and forget to eat from anxiety, and keep their hands on the books, and stay up all night.

在刚刚过去的考试周里，绝大部分的枫叶学子抛开了一切杂念，顶着压力将全部的精力投入到备考任务中。课堂上，寝室中，晚自习的教室里，奋斗的姿态在校园内随处可见，同学们的身上闪耀着青春的光芒，彰显着青年人宝贵的底色。

During the past exam week, the majority of Maple leaf students left all distractions behind and put all their energy into preparing for their exams. Whether in the classroom, the dormitory or the evening study hall, students were striving for the exams everywhere on campus, shining with the light of youth and showing off the precious colours of young people.

奋斗者不负韶光，志在追梦圆梦。为了自己的梦想，奋斗的力量已经悄然在枫叶学子之间晕染，从而形成了良好的校风。

Those who struggle live up to their dreams, aspire to pursue their dreams and fulfil them. For the sake of their dreams, the power of struggle has quietly stained among Maple Leaf students, thus forming a good school spirit.

纵观整个枫叶校园，奋斗之姿，是高一的同学初入枫叶时在过渡期面对压力时的从容应对；奋斗之姿，是高二同学为了自己理想的大学而准备各式各样的考试以及活动；奋斗之姿，是高三同学在拿到最终录取之前所做的最后冲刺。

Throughout the Maple Leaf campus, the striving is the first year students' calm response to the intense academic pressure of high school; the striving is the second year students' preparation for various examinations and activities for their ideal university; the striving is the final sprint of the third year students before they get the final acceptance.

高中是拼搏的黄金时期，这三年里，守的是意志，守的是信念，唯有奋斗，方可到达梦想的彼岸。

High school is a golden period to strive. In these three years, the only way to reach the success of the dream is to keep the will and the belief.

人的一生只有一次青春，现在，青春是用来奋斗的；将来，青春是用来回忆的。人生之路，有坦途也有陡坡，有平川也有险滩，有直道也有弯路。

Now, youth is for struggle; in the future, youth is for memory. The road of life has straight paths and steep slopes, rivers and rapids, straight paths and winding roads.

但是，在未来的日子里，如果我们坚持以奋斗之姿，展青春本色，我们终将踏入光明的前程。

But in the days ahead, if we persist in our struggle to show our youthful colours, we will eventually step into the bright future.
